Considerations for New Carrier Opportunities with PIIB:

To be considered as a new carrier partner with PIIB, the following criteria must be met:

• Financial Stability: We require a strong financial foundation to ensure long-term partnership viability.
• Unique Value Proposition: You must offer something that differentiates your offerings from what stand-alone agencies typically receive.
• Profit-Sharing or Additional Compensation: We seek partnerships that provide meaningful financial incentives for our affiliates.
• Recognition of PIIB’s Collective Structure: PIIB is a collective of independent agencies that vary in size and structure. While premium commitments are important, larger volumes may not be feasible for every affiliate.

PIIB surveys our affiliates quarterly to assess demand for new carriers, as market conditions and appetites continue to evolve. Our goal is to collectively gather premium volume and provide our affiliates with access to the carriers they need.

All new carrier opportunities are evaluated and voted on by the PIIB Board of Directors at their quarterly meetings.
